Privacy Policy
What information BraCalc collects, how it is used, and how you can control it.
Last reviewed on 28 April 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how BraCalc.com ("BraCalc", "we", "us") handles information when you visit the website. It applies to all pages on the bracalc.com domain, including the calculator, the sister-size matrix, the international converter, the fit test, and the per-size guides under /size/.
1. Information BraCalc collects
1.1 Information you enter into the calculator
The calculator and the international converter take measurements and size selections that you type or pick. These values are processed in your browser to compute results. They are not transmitted to BraCalc as part of the calculation, and BraCalc does not store them on any server. If your browser caches a recent value via the site's local storage feature so that the calculator is pre-filled when you return, that storage stays on your device and can be cleared from your browser at any time.
1.2 Automatically collected information
Like most websites, BraCalc receives standard request information when you load a page: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, the page you requested, and the time of the request. This information is used to keep the site running, defend against abuse, and produce aggregate traffic statistics.
1.3 Information from cookies and similar technologies
BraCalc uses cookies and similar storage to run analytics and, where applicable, to serve advertising. Details of each category and how to control them are in the Cookie Policy.
2. How BraCalc uses information
The information described above is used to:
- Operate the website and deliver pages you request.
- Understand which pages, calculators, and conversions are useful, so that the site can be improved.
- Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and automated scraping.
- Display advertising that helps keep the site free, including ads served by Google AdSense and its partners.
- Comply with legal obligations.
BraCalc does not sell personal information to third parties. The site does not run profiling that produces decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Analytics
BraCalc uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — for example, which pages get the most traffic and which devices and regions readers visit from. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser and processes a truncated form of your IP address along with usage events. The data is used by BraCalc only in aggregate, non-identifying form. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies through your browser or a consent control.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense
BraCalc may participate in the Google AdSense advertising programme. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to BraCalc and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info (US) or YourOnlineChoices (EU/UK). For more about how Google handles data when you use partners' sites or apps, see Google's policy.
Even with personalised advertising disabled, you may still see ads on BraCalc — they will simply not be tailored to you.
5. Third-party services
BraCalc relies on a small number of third-party services to operate. The main ones are:
- Google Analytics — for site usage analytics.
- Google AdSense — for advertising.
- Google Fonts — for serving the site's typefaces.
- The hosting provider that serves bracalc.com to your browser.
Each of those services receives the standard request information described in section 1.2 when it serves a resource to your browser. They process that information under their own privacy policies.
6. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable data-protection laws, you have rights including: the right to access personal data we hold about you, the right to request correction of inaccurate data, the right to request erasure of personal data, the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you rights to know what personal information is collected about you, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. BraCalc does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 9.
7. Children
BraCalc is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age under local law). If you believe a child has provided personal information to BraCalc, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained for the period configured in our analytics provider (typically 14 to 26 months) and then expires automatically. Server logs are retained for a shorter period for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not maintain a long-term database of visitor identities.
9. Privacy contact
For privacy questions, data-rights requests, or any other concern about this policy, please email [email protected]. The same address is on the Contact page.
10. Changes to this policy
BraCalc may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes or as legal requirements evolve. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent substantive update. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Governing law
This policy and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction] without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
